PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

1. Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and skills that will enable them to have successful career in core Electronics, Telecommunication and IT Industries.
2. Adaptability for rapid technological change with core Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering domain knowledge through self- learning.
3. Ability to develop their interdisciplinary knowledge and skills.
4. Effective communication skills, team work, ethics, leadership in preparation for a successful career in industry.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

1. EDA Tools Usage: Use Electronics Design & Automation (EDA) tools to develop Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering related Circuits.
2. System Maintenance: Maintain various types of Electronics and Telecommunication systems.
3. Circuit Development: To Develop & assemble Electronic Circuits for various applications.

• The department was established in 1995 with intake of 60. The objective of the department is to provide best quality technician education to rural students of nearby area.
• This Programme is designed to acquire the knowledge of identification, testing and design of circuits/ equipments and technical skills in the field of consumer electronics, communication, embedded systems, instrumentation etc.
• After completion of the Diploma programme, the students may be recruited as Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, Quality control Engineer, Technician etc. in various Government and Private Organization like Railway, BSNL, Defence, Meteorology, Heavy Electronics, Power Plants, Medical, Scientific, Home applications, Consumer electronics Industries.
• Diploma pass out students may also get admission to direct second year in Electronics and communication engineering or any other multidisciplinary branches. They may also start their own ventures.
• The students in this branch scored very good percentage every year.
