Information of the Department

  • The department of Electrical Engineering offers Diploma in Electrical Engineering since 1982 with the intake of 60.
  • Department has well qualified, experienced and dynamic teaching faculty.
  • This Programme is designed to acquire the knowledge of identification, testing and design of various equipments and technical skills in the field of Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Illumination systems, Solar & Wind Power technology etc.
  • The department has excellent academic result and good number of students participating in extra-curricular activities.
  • After completing diploma in Electrical Engineering students can appear for recruitment process in Government organization like MSEB, Railways, PWD etc. and also in private organization like Power plants, Heavy electrical industries, consumer electrical industries etc.
  • The Electrical engineering department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machine Lab, Power lab & Computer lab.
  • Department is engaged in Third Party Audit (TPA) of Electrical Works carried out by Municipal Council of Washim, Karanja & Mangrulpir, Buldhana, Khamgaon.
